In the early Fifties, repairs were the biggest segment of the Lopez Blanco brothers business but word quickly spread throughout and soon boot lovers from all around were joining these boot makers at their doorstep requesting custom-made boots.
In 1959, to meet the growing demands, LOBLAN was established in Venezuela, developed methods to produce greater quantities without sacrificing the key steps in hand crafting. Through all these times LOBLAN has built a reputation for developing quality footwear for men and women, since then the legacy of LOBLAN kept alive by this select group of boot makers. The standard of its work is marked by raw material of excellent quality attached to a carefully hand-made done manufacture process by skilled professionals to achieve good quality products.
It is in 1972, adopting the use of up to date technology and craftsmanship when LOBLAN escalated to a product that answers the strictest requirements of aesthetics, comfort and durability. Then, the company begins to produce what it would represent the initial link in the development of a proper and unique style in Venezuela. The Authentic Boot... In the mid Eighties, LOBLAN started to expand a successfully company's reputation throughout Europe. Strategically, we located our European Sales Headquarter in Holland taking care of a wide spread network of dealers and distributor in many other countries as Belgium, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Scandinavia, Austria, and Greece. In the mid Nineties LOBLAN attacked many other markets in the American continent, penetrating in some strategic countries as Canada, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile.
In the course of all these years, LOBLAN has not stopped and it advances by the hand with the fashion, creating new styles for those that request more, mixing the classic with innovative details. When the boot goes from the rural atmosphere toward the city, the needs change, the urban context requests something else and LOBLAN with innovative designs creates it. In addition to the most styling options available, LOBLAN is constructed to fit a wide variety of sizes and widths to give each customer a good fit. Incorporated into each boot are special features that make LOBLAN the world's most comfortable footwear.
LOBLAN after more than 45 years of boot manufacturing is still a family run business with the second generation actively taking part in all stages of management, design and production. Recently the production facility has been further developed and enlarged, to allow a better working environment and new machinery have again been put in place, to grant the highest standard of quality consistency.
Although the factory is equipped with modern facilities operated by our highly skilled workers, LOBLAN are still considered hand made products. Our people make the difference: This slogan explains the importance of our artisans and their dedication in the manufacturing process which still involves a lot of handmade elements. Most of our key people have been with us for many many years and have greatly contributed to the growth of the company.
